GEISBERG Berlin wins FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Germany 2020

The community housing project "GEISBERG Berlin", a project of COPRO Projektentwicklung GmbH, wins the Fiabci Prix d'Excellence Germany 2020, a renowned award for outstanding project developments. Among this year's approximately 40 applicants from all over Germany, GEISBERG Berlin came out on top in two categories at once and was awarded the highest distinction "Gold" in the category "Living" as well as the special prize "Long Breathing" by the 13-member jury.

GEISBERG Berlin wins European Property Award 2020

With GEISBERG Berlin, COPRO Projektentwicklung GmbH wins the European Property Award 2020 in the category "Residential Renovation / Redevelopment - Germany". The team of COPRO Projektentwicklung GmbH managed a very complex B-Plan procedure under high monument protection requirements. The result is the complete transformation of the 95 year old, listed commercial post & telegraph office into a timeless community residential project with the highest DGNB requirements.

B-Part Am Gleisdreieck wins ICONIC Award 2020: Innovative Architecture

B-Part Am Gleisdreieck, the temporary pioneer building made of wood on the grounds of the Urban Mitte Am Gleisdreieck, was awarded with the independent seal of quality of international standing "ICONIC AWARD 2020: Innovative Architecture - Selection" in the category "Architecture: Special". The two-storey wooden building was designed by Scharabi Architekten; the interior design and parts of the interior fittings were created by Supersupply Berlin. Established by the German Design Council, the award is the first independent architecture and design competition to take into account the interplay between the various disciplines.

German Design Award 2020 for EDITION25

Since 2012, the German Design Council has been awarding its own design prize, which honours innovative products and projects as well as manufacturers and designers in the German and international design industry. COPRO EDITION25 wins the German Design Award 2020 in the category Corporate Publishing.

Jury statement: "The EDITION for the 25th anniversary of the real estate developer COPRO immediately catches the eye with its striking square shape in combination with the high-quality design of the cover. A book excellently produced in terms of form and content, which expresses the high standards of art and elegant architecture in a visually and haptically convincing way".

COPRO wins Red Dot Award 2019

EDITION25 presents COPRO’s projects and successes since its foundation in 1993. The book project was initiated by the management team, who also played a key role in shaping its content. The holistic concept was developed by the COPRO team and specialists from the fields of art, architecture and culture. The design, which was created in collaboration with Berlin-based agency Cee Cee Creative, won over the international jury of experts: The project was recognised with a Red Dot Award – the distinguished quality seal that marks excellence in design and creativity – in 2019’s Brands and Communication Design category.

Award at the ADC competition 2019 for EDITION25

COPRO EDITION25 has received an award in the ADC competition 2019. The competition of the Art Directors Club of Germany (ADC) is the largest creative competition in the German-speaking world and is also very renowned throughout Europe. The leading creative minds of the country from disciplines such as digital media, advertising, design, editorial, audiovisual media and spatial staging form the jury of the ADC competition.

European Property Award 2018 for GLINT

The aim of these award is to honor excellence and to maintain high standards in the real estate industry worldwide. The European Property Awards are judged by an independent jury of 80 industry experts. The evaluation focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability. The official award ceremony took place during a gala on 25 October 2018 in London.

Real Estate Marketing Award 2018 for GLINT

The Real Estate Marketing Award is presented by the University of Applied Sciences Nürtingen-Geislingen and honours innovative as well as creative marketing concepts. The submitted concepts will be appraised and evaluated by a panel of experts chaired by Professor Dr. med. Stephan Kippes. Real estate companies from all areas of the real estate industry as well as agencies and specialized service providers can apply with marketing concepts for the real estate marketing award. Prizes are awarded in the categories residential, commercial, low budget and online marketing. GLINT has been awarded in the section "housing" on 09. October 2018.

Red Dot Award 2018 for GLINT

The Red Dot Award has established itself internationally as one of the most sought-after quality seals for good design. True to the principle "In search of good design and creativity", the Red Dot Award Communication Design is awarded annually to the most creative and innovative projects by designers, agencies and companies around the world. The competition entries are individually assessed and evaluated in terms of their artistic and creative performance. The renowned award was presented on 16 August 2018 in the Communication Design category.

DGNB Pre-Certificate Gold for GLINT

Since 2009, the DGNB has been awarding certificates in the gold, silver and bronze categories. In 2015, the platinum certificate was presented as a new top award level. Based in Stuttgart, the non-profit organization distinguishes the sustainability of buildings and neighborhoods according to objective criteria. The quality is assessed throughout the entire building lifecycle. The DGNB system is now considered the "Global Benchmark for Sustainability." The gold pre-certificate for sustainable residential buildings was awarded to GLINT on 26 September 2017.

DGNB Pre-Certificate Platinum for Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck

The Berlin-based project Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck has achieved the DGNB platinum pre-certification on 01 October 2017 for sustainable commercial quarters. Ecological quality, economic quality, socio-cultural and functional quality, technical quality, process quality and location quality are the key topics here. For the platinum award, a high degree of fulfillment is required in the first five subject areas, as well as the achievement of the overall fulfillment level.

DGNB Pre-Certificate Gold for Geisberg

On 23 September 2015, Geisberg was the first project to receive the gold pre-certificate for new residential buildings from the DGNB. The DGNB distinguishes existing buildings, new buildings, interiors and quarters. COPRO has far exceeded the minimum degree of performance required for this award. The valuation basis is not exclusively based on ecological aspects - the entire lifecycle of a building or urban quarter is considered holistically.
