COPRO supports new "Forum" at EBS University

EBS Business School, the oldest private business school in Germany, has been educating leaders with an international perspective since 1971. Just in time for the anniversary year, the first construction phase has been completed after 1.5 years with the completion of the new lecture hall. Last weekend, the new "Forum" in the courtyard of EBS Schloss was opened with the inauguration ceremony by EBS President Günther H. Oettinger and Rector Prof. Martin Böhm.

Thanks to a donation of 150,000 euros from EBS alumni, the Forum was equipped with state-of-the-art technology and study room furniture. Dr. Dorothée Hofer, Managing Director of EBS University: "I am very proud that we have now completed the first construction phase and I am extremely looking forward to the second construction phase, which will soon begin. At this point, I would especially like to thank our alumni for their generous support!" Antje Kimmich, Managing Director COPRO Beteiligungs GmbH and Marc F. Kimmich, Managing Partner COPRO Beteiligungs GmbH, have been committed for years to their old university, from which they both graduated in 1990.

The new building is characterised by a lot of exposed concrete, wood and glass and is half embedded in the ground so as not to overshadow the historic castle. On 130 square metres, there is now room for 200 people in the barrier-free interior and on the striking steps at the edges. Around 60 students can work in seminars at group tables and, in fine weather, spend their breaks on the roof terrace with a view of the vineyards and the Rhine.
